What Is FBI Apostille?
An Apostille is a name given to a specialized certification, issued by the United States Department of State in Washington D.C. An FBI Apostille is attached to your original document to indicate its authenticity so it can be accepted by countries who are a member of the Hague Apostille Convention.
Individuals who travel abroad to live, work, or attend school may be asked at some point to have documents Apostilled or Authenticated. An FBI apostille background check is a regular FBI background check with an extra certification that some countries require when you travel abroad.
