How To Do A Background Check
The process of completing and submitting your background check is daunting, and can even be overwhelming for some. Here at PrintScan, we make the process simple by informing our customers about the background check process and walking them through each step.
An FBI background check costs $90 at PrintScan. This fee includes fingerprinting, sending cards to the FBI for processing, and an emailed copy of your report. An FBI apostille is available for an extra fee.
The FBI Background Check process begins getting your fingerprints taken by a PrintScan Specialist. Next, we send your fingerprinted cards to the FBI for processing. A copy of your report is then sent back via physical copy or email, dispensing on which option you prefer. If receiving results electronically, they are available within 24-48 hours via email. The background check can be apostilled for an extra fee.
Fingerprinting for background checks typically takes around 30 minutes. If you already have FD-258 fingerprint cards, we are available to submit them to the agency for you. Just come in, get fingerprinted, complete the forms, and choose your shipping option!
