PrintScan software is most commonly used to submit fingerprints for Departmental Order enrollments. A Departmental Order allows an individual to submit fingerprints through an Approved FBI Channeler to request a copy of their Identity History Summary Record Request. Once transmitted, these enrollments go directly to an Approved FBI Channeler along with electronically generated release forms. The applicant receives an email with their results within a few hours!

Departmental Order requests made on PrintScan's Enrollment Software only require flat impressions of fingerprints, also known as Type-14 fingerprint images.
